Committed to Lifelong Learning in a Christian Environment
Plymouth Christian Academy | Academics
Academics at Plymouth Christian Academy are aimed at maximizing the potential of every child. From the time our students join the PCA community, they experience a nurturing atmosphere of learning and discovery in academics, athletics, fine arts, and service. Our teachers and staff use innovative methods to engage our students and build a community of learners.
With our private school curriculum, PCA students meet or exceed standards on standardized tests at all grade levels. Plymouth Christian Academy partners with parents to prepare students for college and a life of service to our Lord through excellence in Bible-centered instruction and through godly example. To fulfill this partnership, PCA is committed to providing:
Academic Excellence
Academic excellence involves the pursuit of an ever-improving learning environment where all students can demonstrate academic growth in a Christian school setting. PCA features a small classroom environment averaging 20 or fewer students per class. This gives children an opportunity to experience more individual attention to their needs and learning styles.
Plymouth Christian Academy also aligns its instruction with state and national standards all through a biblical worldview. In doing so, our students have the privilege of understanding the world in which they live from a meaningful and eternal perspective.
Biblical Worldview
A biblical worldview is a governing perspective that God is the source of all truth, and He has revealed in the Bible everything we need to know for life and godliness.
The Bible is at the core of the PCA educational experience. Encouraging students to develop a biblical worldview is integrated daily into the classroom environment. Students are equipped with virtues needed to evaluate situations and empowers them to act through their culture for Christ.
Christian Character
Christian character is the expression of the fruit of the Spirit (Galatians 5:22-26). Christian character is revealed in the attitudes and actions of students in the form of faith, integrity, unity, joy, and much more.
Plymouth Christian Academy focuses on strengthening the minds of students and encouraging the development of Christ-like characteristics in each student.
