Instrumental Music Teacher

Mr. Cook joined the PCA faculty in 2020 and is the Director of Bands for grades 5-12 at PCA.  According to Mr. Cook, “he has been blessed to teach music at a variety of different schools in Michigan.” Most recently he was the Music Director at our sister school, Lutheran Westland. Mr. Cook performs with the Metro Detroit Jazz Orchestra and is the founder of the Oakland County Brassworks Brass Quintet. When he isn’t teaching or performing, he enjoys spending time with his wife and three daughters, reading, and being outdoors.

Christopher Cornell, Jr.
11th and 12th Grade Bible Teacher

Mr. Cornell joined the PCA faculty in 2019. He is passionate about theological education and is thrilled to be teaching Bible at PCA.

Michael Costello
Secondary Art Teacher

Mr. Costello joined the faculty at PCA in 2017. He had been a substitute teacher for the past three years and served as the Middle School Girls Basketball coach from 2013-2015. He is an avid photographer and has had photos, drawings, and sculptures exhibited while studying at MSU. Mr. Costello also coaches Middle School Tennis and Boys Varsity Lacrosse and is a member of the Michigan High School Lacrosse Coaches Association Hall of Fame.

Frank Dame
Middle School Social Studies Teacher

Mr. Dame joined the PCA faculty in 2020. He has over 25 years of teaching experience, having taught English, Bible, and various other classes.  His passion is to “Train up children in the way they should go” to help them excel and know Jesus.  He enjoys people and is blessed with tremendous interpersonal skills that he uses to share his love for Christ. He also has coached various youth and high school sports and was a trainer for high school wrestling officials.
