High School Robotics Team

During a six-week period beginning in January, the PCA Robotics High School Team gears up. Students learn to build a robot from a common kit of parts, which typically weighs up to 150 lbs. PCA parents and alumni guide and mentor students through the robot construction process. The PCA Robotics Team, The Atoms Family,Team 4405, participates in the FIRST Robotics Competition (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology) program with more than 68,000 high school competitors. Regional competitions begin in early March with National Championships in April. Participation in Robotics is a great avenue to open opportunities for a college scholarship. You can stay connected to The Atoms Family by following them on Twitter or Facebook. To learn more about FIRST, click here.
