Thank you for your interest in Plymouth Christian Academy.

We would love to partner with you & your family to provide a Christ-centered education for your child. We understand the importance of this decision & want to support you during this process.

Admission to Plymouth Christian Academy is open to academically qualified students who are seeking a nurturing Christian environment. Plymouth Christian Academy admits qualified students as required by law, without regard to race, color, gender, national or ethnic origin, to all the rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally made available to students at the school. PCA does not discriminate contrary to law on the basis of race, color, gender, national or ethnic origin, in administration of its educational policies, admission policies, athletic, scholarship, and other school administered programs.

The following is a testimonial from the parent of a PCA graduate from the Class of 2016. We believe this testimonial may speak to the many questions you have when selecting a school for your child.

“After our Christian school closed, my son Kent strongly requested that we allow him to attend PCA his senior year. My wife and I knew very little about the school, but we prayerfully considered Kent’s request.

To get a feel for what PCA is like, I visited it for a couple hours at the end of last year. The students appeared to enjoy being there. I did not see one student who looked like he wasn’t part of the group. Just a first impression, but helpful to me.

I was encouraged to see that they were having a student led chapel. A student challenged the other students with God’s Word and then they broke into discussion groups. I heard the students discussing how the message applied to their lives. They weren’t goofing off or talking about other things. They were seriously discussing the message. This showed me that there was a good spiritual atmosphere at PCA and that the students were absorbing God’s Word.

As we continued to consider PCA, I was greatly encouraged that they have a discount for families in ministry. The cost of this discount, which no doubt must be covered by their church and/or supporters, made it financially possible for us to afford PCA and the benefits to our son made it worth much more than we paid! Thank you to all who made this possible for us!

Last summer, I took my son to his first soccer practice. Neither of us had any idea how well it would go for him. From the first day, the other players immediately accepted Kent as a part of their team and as a friend. They were clearly very happy to have him on their team. Coach Kris Warnamende not only did an excellent job of teaching the kids to play soccer, he also challenged them to put Jesus above winning and to honor Him at all times. Kent’s team mates and their parents influenced one another the same way. The Christ-centered spiritual influence related to sports was challenging!

At the soccer awards night, each player shared things that he appreciated about other players on the team. The entire night was very encouraging, uplifting and bonding.

Academically, Kent has received a very good education and definitely feels prepared for college. The teachers at PCA have done their job!

I am thinking even now of more things to say, but in the interest of brevity, I will stop here.

I highly recommend PCA to all Christian parents who are looking for a solid Christian education with a highly positive spiritual and social environment.”

    Very sincerely,

    Matt Mickelson
