Dear PCA Families,

Through much prayer and trust in the Lord, we have continued to search for the right person to lead Plymouth Christian Academy as our new Superintendent/ Head of School. After many screenings, interviews, assessments, and onsite visits (including meetings with the Admin Team, Staff, and several families), the Regent Board has made a selection.

We are happy to announce that Mrs. Terri White has accepted our offer.

Mrs. Terri White comes to PCA with over two decades in Christian education in five Christian schools, serving as teacher, principal, and Head of School. She has passionately dedicated her life to the mission that God has given to her to create a Christ-centered environment where students develop a love for learning and love for Jesus.

God has used her gifts of leadership and administration to lead during times of crisis, unify a school community and create strategic plans for academic and spiritual growth. Her experience also includes implementation of new initiatives that increased enrollment by 20%, ensured fiscal stability, and team-led facility expansions and renovations. She assisted in the acquisition of a Christian School with emphasis on aligning curriculum and unifying the administrative staff of both schools. In addition, she has served on a school’s capital campaign committee with strategic plans to develop a regional Christian school, S.T.E.M., campus security, campus renovation and land investment.

Mrs. White believes that the foundation of a Christ-centered education is two-fold: 1) a personal and authentic relationship with Jesus Christ, and 2) intentionally leading students to develop a Biblical worldview while understanding how God has set them apart for a purpose that will impact their world for Him.

Mrs. White, and her husband, David, a pastor, and chaplain with Corporate Chaplains of America, have been married for 36 years. They enjoy spending time with family and friends along with hiking and water activities. They have two adult children. Ashley, who lives in Greenville, South Carolina with her husband and 11-month-old daughter, and, Joshua, who also lives in Greenville.

Terri’s official start date is January 1st; however, you may see her on campus prior to January as she meets with Staff, Regents and prepares for her start. Please pray for the White’s as they sell their current house and for their transition to Michigan. More details will follow in the coming days as we work with Mrs. White in putting together a communication plan for the transition. Additionally, with the help of Mrs. White, we will continue working toward filling remaining open positions. We look forward to having Mrs. White on board and moving us forward for years to come.

Philippians 4:4 Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice!

In His Name, on Behalf of the entire Regent Board,

Michael Warmbier
