High School FIRST Robotics FRC | Plymouth Christian Academy

Our high school team, known as The Atoms Family, competes in the FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC), an international program that challenges students to design, build, and program an industrial-size robot in just six weeks. Students work alongside professional mentors and alumni in areas such as:

  • Mechanical engineering and fabrication
  • CAD and 3D printing
  • Software development and automation
  • Electrical systems
  • Business, marketing, and fundraising

The Atoms Family is more than a team, it is a community. Students grow not only as engineers, but as leaders who exemplify integrity, teamwork, and Gracious Professionalism®. This leads to a lasting impact, with 96.5% of our alumni pursuing STEM degrees and entering related careers. This culture of success leads them to give back, as many alumni return to mentor and invest in the next generation; 35% of our mentors over the past three years are former FIRST Robotics students.

Beyond the Robot

PCA Robotics emphasizes outreach, service, and leadership. Our students:

  • Host and volunteer at STEM camps and community events
  • Mentor younger robotics teams
  • Partner with local businesses and sponsors
  • Represent PCA at district, state, and world championship competitions

Through competition, collaboration, and community impact, PCA Robotics prepares students for college, careers in STEM, and lifelong leadership. Join us as we build more than robots - we build future innovators.
