Working to make communication easy and clear

At PCA, we are always looking for ways to keep our busy families informed and up-to-date about coming school events. We hope you find the website calendar helpful, especially since you can download it into your desktop or mobile calendar. In addition, we have our weekly newsletters and if you’re in elementary, our classroom newsletters, that are full of very important dates, times, and details you need for the coming weeks.

An additional resource this year that we are piloting is the concept of reprinting our weekly newsletter via blog post with event highlights and a link to the full newsletter. We’d love to hear back about whether you find this concept helpful. Send an email to Peggy Paulson, PCA Communications Director, at to share your thoughts.

  • Patriot Day Schoolwide Prayer Chain
On Wednesday, September 11, we will be honoring Patriot Day as a school community remembering all those who suffered on that day. September 11th is a day in which Americans patriotically declare, “We must never forget!” We will pause to gather on the athletic field to form a prayer circle to pray for these families that God will continue to surround them with peace and that during these times of remembrance our country will look to the Lord for the strength. Our prayer is that we would be a nation that honors God, and that we would understand that everything we have in America is the result of His amazing grace. As we turn our eyes and hearts toward God on Patriot Day, we will thank the Lord for our school, a place where we can openly magnify the name of Jesus. We will never forget, and we will pray for the families of those who suffered great loss, that His peace and comfort will rule their lives. Together, we claim the promise in Psalm 46:1, “God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.”
