Virtual Art Exhibit – 7th & 8th Grade Art

We are pleased to showcase our 7th and 8th-grade artwork through the latest virtual art exhibit. Throughout the year, PCA middle school students learn how to observe the world as an artist. Art is everywhere, and students learn to look at the details and how things have been created. Students learn how to draw objects, people, nature, and re-create works of the masters.

This year, the 7th-grade students drew shapes, places, and learned about abstract drawings. 8th-grade students worked on printmaking, understanding positive and negative space, graphic design, and created sketches of people and animals.

This year 31 students participated in the Middle School Art program. We hope you enjoy selections from their work.
