Dear PCA Parents, Faculty, and Staff,

I hope you’re enjoying the beautiful weather this weekend and the time with your family.

We have grown accustomed to “breaking” news over these past several months, but the past few days have taken it to a new level. On Friday morning, we learned that President Trump and First Lady, Melania, tested positive for COVID-19. By the late afternoon, we learned that the President was being transferred to the hospital for treatment. We ask that you join with us in prayer for the President and Melania.

Friday evening, we received word that the Michigan Supreme Court made a ruling concerning Governor Whitmer’s emergency powers. We understand the confusion this ruling has caused, and we want to assure you that we are following this fluid situation closely. Once we have a firm understanding of what this Michigan Supreme Court decision means, we will be able to make good decisions on what might need be adjusted.

At this time, we will continue to follow our Reunite Plan for Phase 4 in-person school, including the wearing of masks for K-12 students. The health and safety of our staff and students remain a top priority for us.

Let’s continue to remember Proverbs 3:5, where we read,
“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding, in all our ways acknowledge Him, and He will direct your path.”

God is in control and He will continue to direct our path by helping us navigate through these tumultuous times!

I love you and I’m praying for you!
Caryn Huntsman
