Hands down, the most consistent answer to the question, “Who was the most powerful influence in your life growing up?” continues to be, “My teachers.” Think about it. Many of us can easily name a trusted educator or coach who inspired us, influenced our journey or touched our heart. Teachers are happy and positive people who motivate, encourage, educate, and listen. At PCA, our students know that they can count on teachers to not only challenge them academically but also cheer them on spiritually. The teachers God has placed at Plymouth Christian are the “living curriculum” and they treasure the awesome responsibility of influencing and shaping the lives of students in their care.

Today’s parents are looking for teachers who foster positive, caring relationships with students within a Christ-centered learning environment. That’s a powerful combination and has the power to unleash untapped potential within each student. Research tells us this combination will increase engagement, motivation, study habits, test scores, and grade point averages. This tried and true connection between positive relationships and student achievement produces life-long learners, leaders, and servants for Christ. A huge shout out to PCA teachers for being Christ-like role models, relationship-builders, caring listeners, quality educators and inspiring motivators!

I’m praying for you,
Mr. Ryan Batson
PCA K-8 Principal
