State Finals Again…PCA Cross Country Running for the Glory of God

Date: Nov 6, 2015 Tags: School NewsThe PCA 2015 Cross Country team will be running in the State Finals on Saturday, November 7. Their months of hard work and dedication has led to the honor and privilege of participating again at the State level!
The PCA boy’s Cross Country team took 1st place at the Regional meet on Saturday, October 31. Aaron Vicars was the Regional Champion coming in first. All-Region Status was earned by Seth Windle-second, Gareth Matson-5th, Ben Fuller-8th. Ian Hay was 20th making the final score 36! Paul Chamberlain and Aaron Geisler ran very strong races completing the varsity team.
Sienna Ruiter was 2nd in the race, and Joy Chamberlain was 10th. Both earned All-Region Status and individually qualified for the State finals.
This is the 4th time in 5 years the PCA Cross Country runners have placed 1st in Regional, and the second back-to-back championship. Congratulations to the all the runners and their coach, Jennifer Lemieux!

Boys race at 11:00
Awards at 12:15
This in not a spectator friendly course…so wear comfortable shoes and dress warm! (Or in layers) Plan to be there well ahead of race time as parking and finding the purple tent will take some time! You may want to consider getting your tickets ahead of time to alleviate the lines: MHSAA Tickets.
