Today, our Middle School students took part in one of their best chapels of the year! Alex Lewis, former NFL Lions player, and Cornelius Bundrage, two-time Junior Weight CHAMPION OF THE WORLD, nickname “K9”, spoke with our 7th and 8th grade students about how to “walk the walk” of the Christian faith. Both athletes passionately conveyed to our students that true character and faith in Christ is seen by our actions rather than our words. Raised in Detroit, Cornelius grew up defending himself on the streets. God spoke to him as a young man through the testimony of his grandmother and He came to faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. He attributes staying grounded to his focus on His faith. Cornelius’s favorite Scripture is Matthew 19:26 which says, “All things are possible with God.” We want to thank these two Godly athletes for taking time out of their day to come and pour into the lives of PCA middle school students.
