We were blessed with amazing weather for SHINE Day #1! We were able to serve so many different organizations in a variety of locations. Thanks to all the parent volunteers who worked diligently throughout the day to make this day possible. We couldn’t do it without you!

The following are all the details you need for Project SHINE Tuesday, April 25:
6th Grade

6th Grade will be serving at the Penrickton Center for Blind Children in Taylor. This amazing organization serves a very precious group of individuals. To learn more about them, you can visit the Penrickton website by clicking HERE. They will depart PCA at 8:20am following a time of Praise, Prayer and Worship in the auditorium. Parents are welcome to attend! They return back to school by the end of the day.

Kindergarten will be traveling to Waltonwood Senior Center in Canton at 12:50pm to deliver the beautiful placemats that were made by their classes and the begindergarten classes. While there they will be meeting the residents and singing for them.

4th Grade

Operation Rescue Teddy Bear for the Canton Fire Department
At 9am, the 4th grade students will gather in the auditorium for a time of Praise, Prayer and Worship. From 9:30 until 11:20am, they will be working on their teddy bears. Following lunch, they will depart at 12:50pm, heading for their visit at the Canton Fire Department on Canton Center Road. While there they will receive a station tour (as long as the fireman are there!) and will present the teddy bears to the firefighters.

We are looking forward to the 2nd day of SHINE 2017! Any questions or concerns, please email Peggy Paulson at Thank you for your support!
