DESCRIPTION:On October 18th\, standardized tests will be administered to specific grade level secondary students. \nThe secondary testing schedule will NOT affect middle school students–they will have a\nregularly scheduled day. \nNinth graders will take the electronic version of the PSAT 8/9. Eleventh grade students\nwill take the electronic version of the PSAT/NMSQT. Both tests will begin at 7:50am and\nend at approximately 11:00 AM. Students will proceed directly to lunch\, chapel\, then 5th7th hours.\nAll tenth and twelfth graders will come to school at 11:30 AM. Students will proceed\ndirectly to chapel\, then attend 5th-7th hours. \nOn March 13th\, tenth graders will take the electronic version of the PSAT 10 and\neleventh graders will take the electronic version of the SAT. \nTo ensure that students are ready for the tests\, we are asking them to bring their laptops\nfully charged and their chargers for the day\, along with a pen or pencil for scratch work\,\nan approved calculator\, an external mouse (if preferred) and photo identification.\nAlthough the testing window is still over a month away\, we want to inform parents and\nstudents ahead of time about the necessary preparations. We will send a reminder closer\nto the testing dates. \nAdditionally\, if you would like to help your student begin to prepare for the PSAT\, please\nhave them review information at this link to merge their Collegeboard and Khan Academy\naccounts. Merging the accounts will provide a personalized learning plan for your student’s\npractice.
