By: Webmaster|Date: Oct 27, 2018|Tags: School News

I’m with you. I’m always trying to get a better handle on being a Godly parent and leading my family. If you want a few tips on how to get a grip on the challenges of raising a family in a technology-rich society, while balancing the rapid pace of family life, check out these resources:

The Tech-wise Family: Everyday Steps for Putting Technology in Its Proper Place, by Andy Crouch. This book is in the “must read” category! This short book deals with technology in the context of family life, not as an isolated issue. It’s definitely “news you can use” and is chock-full of practical help. You’ll gain great ideas on how to develop courage and wisdom as parents facing the challenges of technology.

Parenting: 14 Gospel Principles That Can Radically Change Your Family, by Paul David Tripp. The principles outlined in this book are reminders of how to keep priorities straight in the midst of the whirl of daily family life. You can view this book come to life in short videos (2-3 minutes in length) on RightNow Media. To visit the RightNow Media page for Paul Tripp’s videos, CLICK HERE.
