Elementary Express & Secondary Snapshot, January 13-January 18

The new year holds such excitement and promise and it is a true blessing and my deepest privilege to continue to serve you in this coming year. It’s been a pleasure welcoming our entire school family back after a long, well-deserved break. I trust each of you had a pleasant and restful Christmas break. I’m confident our students and (perhaps some of our parents too) are ready to get back into the more normal routine that school days bring. Our teachers are hard at work creating experiences where students engage in their own learning, solving authentic and challenging problems. As we move into the months of January and February our pace will increase and we’ll need students well-rested, focused and ready to learn.

Praying for you all and wishing you all blessings of health and happiness for 2020!

Ryan Batson, K-8 Principal

The coming week at a glance:

Monday, January 13

  • Moms in Prayer, 8 am, Church Nursery:

New Year, new opportunities! Have you been looking for a way to impact our school? Prayerfully consider joining Moms in Prayer and have a powerful impact on our students and teachers as we lift them in prayer! Moms in Prayer meets weekly on Mondays from 8-9 am in the church nursery in the elementary building. It is a “come when you can” opportunity and no rsvp is needed. Child care is provided for those with non-school aged children who wish to attend. In addition to prayer, this is a great way to get to know other parents at PCA. Please contact Jen Hock (jstreblow@gmail.com) or Sarah Batson (sarahebatson@gmail.com) for more information. We hope to see you soon!

The PCA Advancement Department wants to send a very special thank you to all the donors and sponsors who made the 2019 Christmas Town Auction possible. We have created the 2019-2020 PCA Yellow Pages that provide a listing of all donors and sponsors, along with their contact information and links to their websites. We ask that you take a few minutes to look through this catalog and consider supporting those who have so graciously donated to Plymouth Christian Academy!
