Plymouth Christian is pleased to announce two very exciting developments within our athletic department for the 2017-2018 school year. Matt Windle, PCA Athletic Director, has been working to make these programs available for PCA athletes and we are grateful for his work.

Matt has been collaborating with Sean Servalish, RDN, LDN, a student pursuing his Master’s degree in Dietetics at Mississippi State University, to develop a nutrition plan for PCA athletes. Sean works with the Mississippi State Athletic Department to ensure that their athletes are properly nourished. He has created a nutrition plan for Plymouth Christian which we have named, Eagle Fuel. This nutrition program will benefit PCA athletes, allowing them to perform at their highest levels. We are extremely grateful to Sean for his work on this plan!

The second exciting initiative available for PCA athletes is baseline concussion testing. We will be using ImPACT Concussion Testing. This testing is free-of-charge to PCA students and will be administered during the school day at the beginning of their season. If a student receives a concussion throughout the year, they can be tested again and evaluated against their baseline results. If you have any questions about these exciting new programs, please contact Matt Windle at Matthew.Windle@plymouthchristian.org.
