Moms in Prayer International is coming to PCA

Welcome to the 2017-2018 school year and a new format for our parent prayer group. Sarah Batson and Jennifer Hock have graciously accepted the leadership of this group and will be using the Moms In Prayer International format, which is praying scripture for the school, teachers, students, and more.

    Isaiah 55:11
“so is my word that goes out from my mouth: It will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it.”

Two weeks from today, on Monday, September 11 from 8-9 am, the Moms in Prayer group will start at PCA. All PCA moms are welcome to attend. Moms in Prayer will meet in the church nursery, across from the elementary office. We are so excited to join together to lift our school and children before God in prayer!

Please feel free to bring your young children along who are not yet in school. The plan is to have moms take turns (probably once a month) watching the toddlers in the adjoining nursery. Sarah Batson and Jennifer Hock will be taking turns doing this, since they both will be bringing little ones. Sarah and Jennifer will also be taking turns every other week leading the prayer time, but hope to lead the first week together. If you feel led to provide childcare on September 11 so that Sarah and Jennifer can work with the prayer group together, please contact Sarah at 517-927-4284. We are grateful for all who assist with this very important ministry at PCA!

Moms in Prayer Q & A

    1. If someone can’t stay the whole time, is it ok to come late or leave early? Yes!

    2. If someone has a baby or a child who won’t feel comfortable going in the nursery, can they stay in the room with us while we pray? We think so; as long as it doesn’t seem too distracting, we’re ok with giving that a try!

    3. Do people have to commit to coming every week? No–just come whenever you are able.

Feel free to contact Sarah Batson with any questions at 517-927-4284. Thank you so much for your interest in the PCA Moms in Prayer!
