“Give thanks to the Lord, for He is good. His love endures forever.” Psalm 136:1

This Thanksgiving, we’re continuing to SHINE ON and fill more food baskets at our all-school, K-12, Thanksgiving Chapel. All family members and friends are invited to join us for the annual Thanksgiving Chapel that takes place on Wednesday, November 22, at 10 am in the CBC church auditorium. Each year, we hold this special Thanksgiving Service to celebrate the many blessings God has bestowed upon each of us. The chapel will feature special guest speaker, Pastor Ken Pierpont, worship music performed by the high school praise band, school celebrations, and the collection of goods that will be shared with our local food bank at the Plymouth Salvation Army and the Detroit Rescue Mission.

It’s a very simple all-school service project this Thanksgiving; we are asking each student to bring in one food basket item and deliver it to the Thanksgiving Chapel. These items will be delivered for use during the Christmas season at the Salvation Army and the Detroit Rescue Mission. Thank you so much for sharing!
Ideas for items to donate:

    stuffing mix
    turkey gravy
    canned fruit
    canned vegetables
    Jiffy mix
    mashed potato mix
    canned sweet potatoes

Thank you so much for helping us continue to serve our community in this way. Happy Thanksgiving!
