An Encouraging Word

As we approach child raising in a purposeful way, we need to seek God’s help. God has the plan already worked out! When we ask Him, He will direct us to His Word, people we know and other resources for help in developing the plan. When purposefully training our children we need to remember three things:

    1. Every family plan will look different.
    2. Your family plan needs to be agreed upon by all parents and caretakers in your children’s lives.
    3. The Parenting Plan needs to be consistently carried out each day.

To start your plan, think seriously about who you want your children to be in 20 years. After you have thought about this, you may want to develop three types of plans: A Life Plan, A Behavioral Plan and a Spiritual Plan. When we fail to plan, we plan to fail! All of us desire our children to be all that God has created them to be. I look forward to helping you look seriously about how we as parents can purposefully train our children.
Proverbs 22:6 “Train up a child in the way he should go and when he is old he will not depart from it.”
I am praying for you,
Mrs. Huntsman
