Hands-on STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) learning from a biblical worldview. That’s a great description of the work that takes place every day in our Elementary STEM Lab. Students from kindergarten through 6th grade visit the STEM lab weekly. This upcoming week, December 11-15, the following are the questions they’ll answer and the topics they’ll cover:

How does electricity work? What laws does the universe obey, and where do those laws come from?
Third Graders are exploring the laws of electricity that show the marvelous work of the Creator. Every particle follows laws. Our orderly universe is built upon the laws of logic, mathematics, physics – rules of light, energy, and electricity. The laws of the universe are perfectly fit together in exactly the right order to make life possible. If the universe started by random chance, why are there laws at all? Founders of modern science assumed there are laws because God rules the universe. Hebrews 1:2-3 says “He made the worlds…upholding all things by the word of His power.”
