From the Desk of Mrs. Huntsman

It is with gratitude and likely some relief, that we close out the 3rd quarter of our school year. We are grateful to our God for His protection and to you, our PCA families for your resilience and cooperation in the shared responsibility of educating your young people. #PCAkeepslearning!
With dedication and selfless service, our faculty and staff continue providing transformative education with Christian values. How blessed we are for our PCA family. Whatever you are facing today our prayer is that you will experience the “peace of God, which surpasses all understanding” as we read in Philippians 4:7.
We want to support you through this time, and the best way for us to receive your feedback about your needs is through a survey. Please click the link to open this week’s survey! Thank you!

Virtual Learning

In the midst of our rapidly changing world, we continue to press on with a renewed commitment to deliver an educational program designed to lay a solid academic, intellectual, and spiritual foundation for our students. We are collaborating as a team to generate creative teaching/learning/discipleship ideas but we are also gleaning from schools and colleagues around the globe. In addition to what you have already received, we are building academic resource pages on our website for your convenience.

Spiritual Formation

In keeping with our mission to impact our students spiritually, we will be offering chapel weekly for our elementary and secondary students. Secondary chapel will take place on Tuesday and elementary chapel on Thursday. The following is the schedule for this coming week:
Tuesday – Secondary Chapel: “The More We Know, The Less We Fear”, March 24 with Pastor Wayne Kurtycz, 11:30am-12:00pm
Thursday – Elementary Chapel: “Joy Is An Inside Job”, March 26 with Mrs. Beth Larabee

Social Media

WE MISS YOUR FACE!  Yes, it’s easier to enjoy community when we are physically together, but we can still find ways to connect with each other when we’re not. So many of you have been making the best out of this trying situation with fun and creative activities, and sharing what e-learning looks like in your home. Please keep those photos, videos, and posts coming! It’s encouraging to see how you are embracing this style of learning. Let’s continue to be intentional and take time to remain connected and close. Use the hashtag, #PCAkeepslearning when you post!

Prayer Focus

Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid. John 14:27
We want you to know that even though Moms in Prayer is not gathering together in the same room, they are gathering virtually to pray every Monday at 8 am. Everyone is welcome to join in this effort. As we continue on in this unprecedented time, we can claim the peace that Jesus gives us and join together to pray for each other, our children, our families, our school, our leaders, our communities, our nation, and our world! This week we are praising God for being our Peace.
Here are some of the school-specific prayer requests for this week:
  • Health of students, staff, and families
  • Focus for students as they learn from home
  • Wisdom for administrators and teachers as they lead PCA from home
  • For the PCA family to be a light to our community in this time
We would love to pray for you and for your families in the days and weeks to come. If you would like to share your prayer requests, we will be diligent to pray for those needs on a daily and weekly basis. Please submit your requests by emailing either Jen or Sarah. (Click their name to link to their email!)
We are praying for you, our PCA family, in this challenging time!
Jen Hock and Sarah Batson, Moms in Prayer Coordinators
