From the Desk of Mrs. Huntsma

We are all living through very turbulent moments in our world’s history, but we know that our Father is not surprised by these circumstances, and His Word is an ever-present help in times of trouble (Psalm 46:1).
I once knew a man who took long walks every day. When asked about inclement weather, he replied, “There is no such thing as bad weather, only improper clothing.” As we navigate the coming weeks together, I urge you to “dress accordingly” by saturating your minds with the promises from Scripture. Rest assured, God is in control. He has gone before you. He sees what you’re going through, and He’s still at work, even through the most difficult of times. We are praying for you and trust in a God who does all things well.
What we do know is that we are diligently working to keep instruction moving. Your student is marked present each day unless parents contact us by emailing attendance@plymouthchristian.org, indicating an absence from online learning due to illness. Our students must stay engaged and complete assignments.
Our prayer is that we will be able to bring students back together on campus as soon as it is safe for everyone. With just five days from spring break, we will communicate no later than Wednesday, April 15, whether we can resume on-campus classes.
We sincerely appreciate the investment you are making in the lives of your young people at Plymouth Christian. While we are away from each other during this time, we want to communicate a message of hope and deepest care to every student and family in our school community. We miss you!
Thank you so much for the feedback you provided last week via the Parent Survey. We want you to know that we are taking your feedback very seriously and will continue to make improvements based on what you share. Please click the link to open this week’s survey! Thank you!
In Him,
Caryn Huntsman
PCA Superintendent

In this new phase of our school’s history, our prayer is that our students will experience a deep and transforming connection with the person of Jesus Christ. He is the only true source of true change and peace.

Tips from PCA’s Personal Trainer, Mr. Steve Bauslaugh

Mr. Steve Bauslaugh, PCA’s P.E. Teacher is also a certified trainer and all-around fabulous guy! He wants to share a few tips with you this week.
Exercise is extremely important for all of us during times
of stress and crisis.”
1.Therapeutic– The body wasn’t created to sit in front of a computer all day. Stress levels and workloads are high. Get out and take a walk, it feels so good!
2. Spiritually– Do a prayer walk. Walk and talk with God about our current situation. As signs of spring hold promise for summer days ahead, God’s promises (in His Word) provide us with strength, peace and hope.
3. Physically– Exercise promotes a strong immune system as well as general fitness.
God Bless You!
Steve
