Connect Groups

Since prayer is a bedrock of our faith, we are thrilled, once again, to provide the opportunity for our elementary students to grow in their prayer life through a small group mentoring program called “CONNECT.” Students are organized into “CONNECT GROUPS” to practice and apply what they learned through directed activities, responsive prayer, and group prayer time. Approximately once a month, 6th grade student Connect Group leaders will focus on a different aspect of prayer using scripture, stories, and interactive activities. Students are encouraged to develop a deep, abiding relationship with Jesus as we break prayer into recognizable pieces, guiding them to have meaningful, daily prayer times. “This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us.” I John 5:14.

On Monday, November 7th, our 6th grade Connect Group leaders were trained and today in chapel, they met with their groups for the first time. Enjoy these pics of a few groups in action!
