An Encouraging Word

This week in chapel, we started small groups for our elementary. The groups were designed to be kindergarten-sixth across-grade level and across-gender groups. We asked every sixth grader to be leaders or co-leaders of these 22 groups of 8-10 students. It is big! It is new! It is exciting! I was so very blessed to watch the students move with their group to different parts of the auditorium, open up their Bibles and talk with their sixth grade leaders about God. The decision to help all of our students connect on a deeper level with different age groups is
purposeful. It is our desire to help our students connect with each other in a variety of ways. Another purpose for the small groups is to allow our sixth graders to start developing their leadership skills. We cannot start too early on this. God has blessed us with students who have the desire to lead. It is with determination and purpose that we help our young people develop their God-given talents of leadership. Please pray for our chapels and these small groups. God is at work!

I am praying for you!
Mrs. Huntsman
