2017 Rube Goldberg at PCA

PCA 2017 physics students were able to showcase their Rube Goldberg Projects on Friday, March 24. The students had approximately one month to build their machines. A Rube Goldberg machine is a complex machine that produces a simple result, such as ringing a bell, turning on a light, or stapling a paper. Each machine had to incorporate at least 15 steps, using five distinct mechanics processes, and then heat, electricity, vibration, and sound. We are very proud of the creative engineering skills on display yesterday at PCA!
