At PCA, we believe the infusion of technology into the curriculum within the content areas develops the 21st century learner. We have found that lessons integrated with technology help motivate students to learn and engage them in the classroom material. Our school has three computer labs and each classroom is equipped with computers.

PCA also has SMART Boards in 23 different classrooms. A SMART Board is an interactive whiteboard that uses touch technology to detect user movement. A projector is used to display the computer’s images on the SMART Board and it acts as a large touchscreen. This allows the teacher to easily keep students with varying learning styles actively engaged through visual stimulus, animations, sounds, student interaction, and paced lessons.
