Karen received a BS in Social Work and a MA in School Counseling from Eastern Michigan University.  Before coming to PCA in 2008, she worked as a social worker with adolescent girls in a residential treatment facility.  She helps students achieve their full academic potential through guidance relating to personal, social, spiritual, and academic concerns.
 

Brad has been serving PCA and Calvary Baptist Church since 2005. He earned his BA in Business Administration from Spring Arbor University. Brad is married to Joyce, and they have two children who attend PCA.

Martha received a BS in Elementary Education from Taylor University and a MA in Reading from Indiana University. She has taught since 1980. Martha has worked at Plymouth Christian Academy since 1988 as an elementary and secondary teacher, Secondary Counselor, and Middle School Coordinator.

Rick Swilley graduated from the University of Michigan where he lettered in Track and Field and he is currently working on his MS in Sports Management at EMU. Rick came to PCA with 18 years experience as a P.E. instructor and Athletic Director. He has a passion for the Lord and a passion for sports.

Dr. Wood’s educational background includes a BS in Criminal Justice from Bowling Green State University, Bowling Green, Ohio; an MS in Human Services from the University of Montana, Great Falls, Montana; an Education Specialist (Ed. S.) from the University of Idaho, Boise, Idaho; and a Doctor of Education (Ed. D.) from Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia. He has been actively involved with the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI) by serving as a District Representative and Regional Accreditation Commission member.

Mrs. Aitken has a BA in Art from Glassboro State College, now Rowan University. She joined PCA in 2006 and teaches Painting & Drawing, Sculpture & Pottery, Advanced Art, AP Art, 8th Grade Art, and Yearbook.  

Mrs. Archibald received a BS in Physical Education from Illinois State, a MS in Physical Education from the University of Houston, and an Elementary Endorsement from Eastern Michigan University.  She teaches elementary and secondary Physical Education, Jump Rope Club, and is the Elementary Athletic Coordinator.

Mr. Bauslaugh received a BS in Physical Education from Wayne State and an MS in Physical Education from Eastern Michigan University. He teaches Elementary and Secondary physical education.

Mrs. Bommarito received her BS, Secondary Teaching Certification, and her Masters in Social Science from Eastern Michigan University. She has taught at PCA since 2006. Mrs. Bommarito  is the Social Studies department chairperson and currently teaches middle school Geography and US History.

Mrs. Boyd received a BA from Seton Hill College in Pennsylvania and an MA from the University of Michigan.  She teaches Middle School Math and is the department chairperson.

Mr. Brandel received a BRE from William Tyndale, BA from Madonna University, MS from the United States Sports Academy, and a MS in Educational Leadership.  He teaches Bible 9 and 10.

Mrs. Brodhagen received a BS in Physical Education with a Minor in Health from the University of Michigan. She also has a MS in Curriculum and Instruction from Concordia University.  She joined PCA faculty in 2003 and teaches secondary Health and elementary Physical Education. Mrs. Brodhagen is also a sponsor of the Class of 2012.

Mrs. Carlson received a BA and an MA in German from the University of Montana, Missoula. In 2003, she moved to Michigan to begin a Ph.D. in German Studies at the University of Michigan. Mrs. Carlson has been teaching at PCA since 2006.

Mrs. Davis received a BA in Elementary Education from Hillsdale College and a MA in Theological Studies from Michigan Theological Seminary. She teaches Bible 11 and 12.

Ms. Fontaine received an MA in Reading from Eastern Michigan University and in Library and Information Sciences from Wayne State.  She taught elementary for 20 years before becoming the Library Media Specialist at PCA in 2002. 

Mrs. Frye received a BS and an endorsement in Reading from Eastern Michigan University.  She teaches middle school English and exploratives. She is the English Department and World Languages Chairperson.
 

Mrs. Groen received her BS in Secondary Math Education from Grace College. She teaches Algebra 1, Algebra 2, Geometry and Financial Algebra. She is also a sponsor of the Class of 2015.

Mrs. Hope received a BS in Elementary Education and a MA in Curriculum and Instruction from Eastern Michigan University. She teaches Middle School Science.

Mrs. Hott received a BS and MS from Purdue University.  She teaches Physics and Chemistry at PCA. Mrs. Hott is also the Student Activities Coordinator.

Mrs. Ling received a BA in Hispanic Studies from the University of Michigan.

Mr. Murray joined the PCA family in 2010 and teaches Geometry, PreCalculus, Statistics and AP Calculus.  He has a BS in Mathematics/Physics, a BS in Mechanical Engineering, and a MA in Secondary Mathematics/Physics Education.  He is also a sponsor of the Class of 2015.

Mrs. Ozanich received a BS in Secondary English Education from Eastern Michigan University and joined PCA Faculty in 2006. She teaches English 10, British Literature and AP Literature. Mrs. Ozanich is also the Co-Sponsor of Student Council.

Mrs. Parsons received her BA in History and Political Science from Calvin College and her Masters in Guidance and Counseling from Eastern Michigan University. She currently teaches World History, AP Government, and Criminal Law.

Mrs. Parton received her BA in English Education from Spring Arbor University. She joined the PCA faculty in 2008 and teaches American Literature and English 9. She is also a sponsor of the Class of 2012.

Mr. Sherman received a BA from Moody Bible Institute, a BS from Grace College and an MS from Eastern Michigan. He teaches Secondary Biology, Human Anatomy, and Physiology.

Mrs. Snyder received her BA from Calvin College in 2007. She joined PCA in 2010 and teaches Speech, English 9, Drama, and Creative Writing.

Mrs. VandeGiessen received a BS in Music Education from Western Michigan University. She teaches 5th through 12th grade band.

Mrs. Wenning received a BA from Eastern Washington University and received her accreditation through ACSI. She joined PCA in 2008 and teaches Middle School Math, Study Skills, Research Skills and Life Topics.

Mr. Wenning received his BS degree in Physical Education at Indiana University and then attended Seminary. He joined PCA in 2008 and teaches Middle School Bible.

Mr. Yates has a BA in Secondary History Education from Eastern Michigan University and an MS in Educational Leadership Administration from Concordia University. He joined the PCA faculty in 2006 and teaches American Government, U.S. History and AP U.S. History. Mr. Yates is a sponsor of the Class of 2014, and he is also the sponsor of NHS.
