Just For Dads - Getting Plugged In

Dear PCA Dads,

It is truly my pleasure to extend a warm and heartfelt welcome to you.  This information is for our PCA Dads, and was distributed to the attendees of our second annual Donuts with Dad event held in September.   If you missed this morning of fellowship, it is my hope that you will find this information and resource guide useful in keeping you “Plugged In!” to all of the activities on and around our campus.

To those of you who are new to PCA, we extend an especially warm welcome, and pray that you will experience God’s hand at work here and enjoy an exciting and productive year in your new school.  We hope that you will quickly feel at home and become involved in the many activities offered at PCA.

As your superintendent and secondary principal, I will work diligently with parents and faculty to foster an atmosphere that promotes a community of Godly learning.  It is our purpose to provide a high quality education, which is centered on Jesus Christ as Savior.  I am committed to working in collaboration with you to continue to develop and implement this shared vision.

Working together as a team, we will move forward in our mission this school year TO EQUIP STUDENTS TO IMPACT OUR WORLD FOR CHRIST.   We have so much to be grateful for as a school family and community.

NEW FOR 2011-2012:

PCA DADS - A brand new program which will reinforce the importance of dads getting plugged into their student’s education at PCA. Involvement in school functions is very meaningful to your children and extremely helpful to our school.

Please plan to get involved in our 3rd Annual Servathon, Project SHINE (Serving Him In Neighborhoods Everywhere), in May 2012. When we all work together, God's work is accomplished joyfully.

We are blessed with so many wonderful parents and we thank you for your commitment to Christian education.  It is our distinct privilege to partner together with you in the education of your children!

Educating For Eternity,

Dr. Mark Wood
