Home School Partnership

Plymouth Christian Academy welcomes all children seeking to train their child in a biblical worldview environment. For families who are interested in our new Home School Partnership, PCA is offering a one or two day program to support parents in their desire to prepare students to impact their world for Christ. We are a fully accredited (NCA) academy with certified teachers who are committed to helping students achieve their full potential.

Home School Partnership (HSP) families are valued members of the PCA community and may participate in many activities and events that are available for full time students such as field trips, performing choirs, chapel, Grandparents Day, Track & Field Day and more.

General Information and Schedule:
  • HSP is a one or two day program geared for 1st -6th grade home school students.  Tuesday home school students will begin Tuesday, Sept 13, 2011 and end the school year on Tuesday, May 29, 2012. Thursday home school students will begin Thursday, September 15, 2011 and will end May 31, 2012.
  • The following Tuesdays would fulfill the program requirements:  September 13, 20, 27 / October 4, 11, 18, 25 / November 1, 8, 15, 22, 29 / December 6, 13, 20 / January 10, 17, 24, 31 / February 7, 14, 28 / March 13, 20, 27 / April 3, 17, 24 / May 1, 8, 15, 22, 29
  • The following Thursdays would fulfill the program requirements:  September 15, 22, 29 / October 6, 13, 20, 27 / November 3, 17 / December 1, 8, 15, 22 January 12, 19, 26 / February 2, 9, 16 / March 1, 8, 15, 22, 29 / April 5, 19, 26 / May 3, 10, 17, 24, 31
  • HSP students will adhere to PCA dress code standards.
  • The HSP Coordinator will pray with the children, have morning devotions and guide them through their schedules throughout their school day.
  • Please note that the students will not have chapel on Thursdays.
  • When a grade level is on a field trip, the HSP Student is welcome to attend. (A nominal fee may apply.) If the HSP Student’s family decides not to attend the field trip and the entire PCA class/grade is gone, the student will not have class that day.

  • Participation in two musicals (additional $50 fee per musical)

Application Process:

  • The application process is the same for home school students excluding the Elementary Recommendation Form.  Please visit the Admissions page for more information in applying or begin your online application now. The $150 application fee is payable in advance in accordance with the schedule below:
  • One Day: $700 per semester or $1400 per year
  • Two Days: $1400 per semester or $2800 per year
  • A student may apply for Tuesday, Thursday or both days
  • $40 *SAT Testing Option for the week of April 4 – 8 (5 day testing schedule)
  • No refund or make up for missed days (including snow days or student illness)

Home School Partnership Supply List:

  • Gym shoes (inexpensive, since shoes will stay at school)
  • 1 spiral notebook
  • 1 pair blunt end scissors (Fiskars preferred)
  • 1 glue stick
  • 1 package of plain, sharpened pencils (10 count)
  • 1 box of 24 count crayons (please, no huge crayon boxes)
  • 1 plastic pencil box to put supplies in
