PCA History
The history of Plymouth Christian Academy is an amazing account of God’s faithfulness and provision. PCA opened its doors in 1976 with 50 students in the preschool and 64 students in grades K-7. At the close of the 1979 school year, the school accommodated grades K-9 with a total of 310 students. By 1986, enrollment in preschool through 12th grade had increased to 504 students. Presently, we continue to grow and see a steady increase in enrollment.

Through the years, as God provided the funds, several building improvements have been made to the school building. Some of these include:

  • The gymnasium
  • An activity center
  • Weight room
  • Locker rooms
  • Science labs
  • Numerous additional classrooms

God also opened the door for the purchase of several acres adjacent to the school in 2002. A baseball field, softball field, and soccer field have been constructed on sections of our 45 acres.

The school earned North Central Association (NCA) accreditation in the spring of 1994 and has maintained it to date. The nationally recognized NCA seal of approval is awarded to schools which meet a rigorous set of educational standards. Truly we have seen God’s blessings over our years and we look forward to how He will lead in the future.
