Brad has been serving PCA and Calvary Baptist Church since 2005. He earned his BA in Business Administration from Spring Arbor University. Brad is married to Joyce, and they have two children who attend PCA.

Mrs. Huntman received a BS in Elementary Education and Elementary Music from Eastern Michigan University and received her MS in Educational Administration at Madonna University. She has taught a total of 11 years; seven of the years were at PCA. She has been the PCA Elementary Principal since 1997.

Rick Swilley graduated from the University of Michigan where he lettered in Track and Field and he is currently working on his MS in Sports Management at EMU. Rick came to PCA with 18 years experience as a P.E. instructor and Athletic Director. He has a passion for the Lord and a passion for sports.

Mrs. Varney joined the preschool staff in 1977 as a teacher and in 1988 as the Early Childhood Coordinator. She has a BS and an MA in Special Education, Speech and Language Impaired. Mrs. Varney is also the Director of Children's Ministries at Calvary Baptist Church.

Dr. Wood’s educational background includes a BS in Criminal Justice from Bowling Green State University, Bowling Green, Ohio; an MS in Human Services from the University of Montana, Great Falls, Montana; an Education Specialist (Ed. S.) from the University of Idaho, Boise, Idaho; and a Doctor of Education (Ed. D.) from Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia. He has been actively involved with the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI) by serving as a District Representative and Regional Accreditation Commission member.

Mrs. Archibald received a BS in Physical Education from Illinois State, a MS in Physical Education from the University of Houston, and an Elementary Endorsement from Eastern Michigan University.  She teaches elementary and secondary Physical Education, Jump Rope Club, and is the Elementary Athletic Coordinator.

Mr. Bauslaugh received a BS in Physical Education from Wayne State and an MS in Physical Education from Eastern Michigan University. He teaches Elementary and Secondary physical education.

Mrs. Botorff received a BS in Elementary Education from the University of Dayton. She teaches first grade.

Mrs. Brodhagen received a BS in Physical Education with a Minor in Health from the University of Michigan. She also has a MS in Curriculum and Instruction from Concordia University.  She joined PCA faculty in 2003 and teaches secondary Health and elementary Physical Education. Mrs. Brodhagen is also a sponsor of the Class of 2012.

Mrs. Byers received both a BS in Elementary Education and a MA in School Counseling from Eastern Michigan University. She has taught at PCA since 2007.

Mrs. Carty is an alumnus of PCA, class of 2004. She received a BS in Elementary and Exceptional Needs Education from Indiana Wesleyan University.  She has taught at PCA since 2008.

Mrs. Chamberlain received a BA in Elementary Education and Vocal Music Education from Hope College. She received an MA in Music Education from Eastern Michigan University in 1997. She currently teaches resource room for 3rd-6th grades and elementary choir for 4th-6th grades.

Mrs. Daniel received a MSLA from the University of Munich in Germany.  She has taught at PCA since 2002 and teaches the Elementary World Language Program for German and French.

Mrs. DeWitt joined the Kindergarten faculty at PCA in 1980. She has a BS in Elementary Education, an MA in Reading and another MA in Guidance/Counseling from Eastern Michigan University.

Mrs. Dittberner received a BS English Language/Literature and MA English/Children’s Literature from Eastern Michigan University.

Ms. Fontaine received an MA in Reading from Eastern Michigan University and in Library and Information Sciences from Wayne State.  She taught elementary for 20 years before becoming the Library Media Specialist at PCA in 2002. 

Mrs. Gutierrez graduated from Eastern Michigan University in 2003 with a BS in Elementary Education with a K-6 teaching certificate. She is currently working toward her MS in Special Education with an LD endorsement at the University of Michigan-Dearborn.

Mrs. Harrison received a BS in Elementary Education and a ZA Endorsement in Early Childhood Education from the University of Michigan.

Miss Hart joined the PCA faculty in 1997 and teaches a Kindergarten class. She has a BA in Elementary Education from Calvin College and an MA in Early Childhood Education from Eastern Michigan University. Her previous experience includes teaching English, Bible, and Character in Moscow, Russia.

Mrs. Hayes received a BS and MA from Oakland Unversity.

Mrs. Houston received a BS in Elementary Education at Eastern Michigan.

Mrs. Howard earned a BA in Elementary Education plus 18 graduate hours in Reading and Language Arts from the University of Michigan-Dearborn.

Mrs. Kedney received a BA in Music from Baptist Bible College and a Teaching Certificate from Madonna University.  She is receiving her MA in Music Education, Eastern Michigan University.

Mrs. Manning received a BA in Elementary Education from Calvin College plus 20 Graduate hours from Eastern Michigan University in Elementary Education.

Mrs. Moore received a BA in Elementary Education from Point Loma Nazarene University.

Mrs. Morby graduated from Eastern Michigan University in 1995 with a BS in Family and Child Development. In 2010, she received her Elementary Teaching Certificate with a special endorsement in Early Childhood Education also from Eastern Michigan University.

Mrs. Pew received a BA from Cedarville University and a MA in Guidance Counseling from Eastern Michigan University.

Mrs. Putney joined the staff in 2004 as a teaching assistant. She has a BS in Psychology and college level course work in Early Childhood Education. Her previous experience includes both teaching and assisting in an early childhood classroom. Mrs. Putney assists in the kindergarten classrooms at PCA.

Mrs. Schneider received a BS in Elementary Education from Eastern Michigan University.

Mrs. VandeGiessen received a BS in Music Education from Western Michigan University. She teaches 5th through 12th grade band.

Mrs. Wells received a BA in Elementary Education from Western Michigan University, a MA from Oakland University, and BS in Religious Education from William Tyndale College.

Mrs. Williams received her BA in Elementary Education from North Park College.

Mrs. Zinn received a BA from Calvin College in Elementary Education and Special Education – Learning Disabilities. Her previous experience includes teaching upper elementary at two other Christian schools in Michigan and teaching P.E. at PCA. She began teaching fifth grade at PCA in 2008.
