Physical Education & Health Teacher
Mrs. Brodhagen has been a member of the PCA faculty since 2003. She teaches elementary and secondary physical education and secondary health. She is the sponsor for the Class of 2017.

Fourth Grade Teacher
Mrs. Dittberner has been a member of the PCA faculty since 1998. She has taught several different grades, including 1st, 2nd, 4th, 5th, and 6th grades.

Ms. Fontaine served as an elementary teacher at PCA for 20 years prior to taking the role of Library Media Specialist in 2002.

PCA Ashley Frey

Ashley Frey

Sixth Grade Teacher
Mrs. Frey joined the PCA faculty in 2015. She comes to PCA after working at Metro Charter Academy as an Academic Specialist. Mrs. Frey is excited to join the PCA faculty since she grew up in a Christian school setting. She treasures the opportunity to teach students about academics from a Biblical perspective and help them grow in their love of God. She is married to Patrick and they have one beautiful son, Elliott.

Mrs. Green joined the PCA faculty in 2015. She loves working with children and is thrilled that God has led her to PCA.

Mrs. Harrison has a been a member of the PCA faculty since 1993. After a period of time at home with her children, she returned to PCA in 2001.

Miss Hart has been a member of the PCA faculty since 1997. She has experience teaching English, Bible, and character in Moscow, Russia.

PCA Michael Hejka

Michael Hejka

Director of Bands
Mr. Hejka joined the PCA faculty in 2015. In addition to his responsibilities with the bands, he teaches Music Theory and coaches the Praise Team. Mr. Hejka is passionate about music and was drawn to work at PCA because of the opportunity to continue to grow as a Christian, the emphasis placed in the arts, and the ability to share his love for the Lord during the school day. Mr. Hejka brings with him a vast level of experience, having worked with the State Champion Tupelo High School Marching Band, Summit Academy Bands and Choirs, AXIS Percussion, and the Wayne Memorial High School Music Program. Mr. Hejka resides in Garden City with his wife, Alisha, and son, Aiden.

Mrs. Hess has been a member of the PCA faculty since 2013 as the Begindergarten teacher. Before joining the PCA staff, Mrs. Hess worked in several preschool settings as assistant and master teacher.

Elementary Music Teacher & Fine Arts Department Chair
Mrs.Kedney has been a member of the PCA faculty since 1996. She teaches elementary Music and also teaches private piano lessons at PCA. She serves as the Chairperson of the Fine Arts Department.

Fifth Grade Teacher
Mrs. Manning originally joined the PCA faculty in 1987.
With two brief intervals since then, she has now served
since 2000 as an elementary teacher.

Mrs. Mistele was a member of the PCA faculty from 1994-1999, teaching second grade. She has been a substitute teacher in the elementary school since 2012.

Mrs. Moore has been a member of the PCA faculty since 2001. In addition to 6th grade, Mrs. Moore has also taught 2nd and 4th grade at PCA. She and her husband Robert have three children who have attended PCA since preschool.

PCA Bethany Romisch

Bethany Romisch

Kindergarten Teacher
Miss Romisch joined the PCA faculty in 2015. She was chosen as a Michigan Teacher of Promise in 2014 (by the Network of Michigan Educators). Miss Romisch considers it a blessing to be able to teach God’s truths to some of PCA’s youngest students.

Elementary Typing Teacher & Robotics Director
Mrs. Wash has been a member of the PCA faculty since 2011. She teaches secondary Computer Applications and elementary Typing. She serves as the coordinator for the elementary through secondary PCA Robotics Teams.

  • Currently pursuing a graduate degree in Online Education, Wilkes Barre University
